Xiaomi outs Redmi Note in China



Xiaomi has announced their next generation Redmi Note, successor to their 2013 model, Redmi in China. The Chinese based consumer electronics manufacturer Xiaomis new phablet will power you with Androids polished version of MIUI v5 and dual-SIM connections on the countrys TD-SCDMA network, also packing a WCDMA variant for the international markets.

The new phone will come out of the box in two Octa-Core models, one clocked at 1.4GHz and another at 1.7GHz, powered by a MediaTek MT6592 processor, a Mali 450 Graphics Processing Unit (GPU), 5.5-inches High Definition screen of 1280 x 720 resolution IPS display of OGS technology and 178 degrees wide viewing angle, eight gigabytes of internal mass storage (expandable via microSD card slot), one gigabyte of Random Access Memory (RAM) for the 1.4GHz model, where else the 1.7GHz version runs over a two gigs of RAM, there is a 13 megapixels primary camera on the back with LED flash light and a five megapixels front facing camera, both capable of capturing 1080p videos, Bluetooth 4.0 with dual-SIM card slot on TD-SCDMA and HSPA networks for the first SIM slot and supporting GSM and EDGE on the SIM slot, packing 3,200mAh battery on board. The new Redmi Note will attribute Androids 4.3 Jelly Bean version based on customized v5 of MIUI.

The phone is available in a wide variety of color options, now up for pre-orders from Qzone, starting today, where its arrival to markets is scheduled by 26th of this month. The Xiaomi Redmi Notes 1.4GHz version is priced at 799 Chinese Yuan, about 129 United States Dollars and 999 Chinese Yuan, around 161 USD for the 1.7GHz model.
