Huawei introduces the Ascend Mate 7 at IFA event




Huawei has announced a new phablet named Ascend Mate 7. The device has an impressive design and got narrow bezels of 2.9 mm. The body is made of metal and display of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The handset will be available in China, France, Hong Kong, Germany, United Kingdom, Italy, Spain and few more countries by end of this quarter. The 16GB variant will cost you around US Dollars 646 and 32GB variant will cost $776. On the back, there is a fingerprint scanner which can support 5 sets of fingerprints. Mate 7 supports LTE Cat.6 technology and a download speed of 300Mpbs. You get an earphone with the handset which uses active noise reduction to block out background sound.

Ascend Mate 7 tots an Huaweis own Octa-Core HiSilicon Kirin 925 SoC with Quad-Core Cortex-A15 cores clocked at 1.8GHz and Quad-Core Cortex-A7 cores speeding at 1.3GHz, a Mali-T628 Graphics Processing Unit good for multi-tasking, playing 3D games and watching videos, 6-inches Full HD screen with resolution of 1920 x 1080 display, coming with 83% high screen-to-body ratio, marked at 368 pixels-per-inch, 16 gigs storage will have two gigabytes of RAM and 32 gigs storage model comes with three gigabytes of Random Access Memory, 13 megapixels primary auto-focus camera with Sonys 4th generation sensor with 5 aspherical lens system featuring 1.2 seconds ultra snapshot with best low-light performance, capable of recording 1080p videos and f/2.0 aperture, a 5 megapixels front-facing camera, 4,100mAh powered battery and runs Androids version 4.4 KitKat with Huaweis Emotion User Interface 3.0 on the board.

You can find Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ with WiFi Direct support, GPS and microUSB port support for connectivity. The dimensions are of 157 x 81 x 7.9 millimeters and weighs 185 grams. The device will be ship in Obsidian Black, Moonlight Silver and Amber Gold shade options.
